IMA has pioneered the concept University Alumni travel in Britain. It all began with a single tour for the University of Cambridge in 1992. Since then IMA's success in providing stimulating tours for people of like mind has attracted other universities and groups from all over the world.

IMA’s Alumni programme is part of Temple World, a family company who have been involved with intellectual travel for a quarter of a century. Temple World owns and operates the yachts IMA has been using in Turkey and Greece since its inception, and a whole lot more besides.
